A site with a higher link value will appear will have a Higher PageRank than a site with a lower link value. Also, getting a link from a higher authority page will increase your chances of ranking higher. Google ranked its pages between 0-10. A web page with a PageRank 10 means it’s a high value / higher authority and it is definitely No.1 in search results. While a 0 PageRank means a low authority site.


In the early 2000s, one of the officials from Google has confirmed that their well-known PageRank is no more operational. But there is no reason to believe it’s not important. The algorithm has changed but there are enough proves to believe that it is equally important even in 2021. The 'Art of link building' or SEO strategies is still important. Which does pretty much the same job as PageRank.!.


Authority score determined the quality of your site, also suggest how impactful a backlink from that site will be for your SEO. The one that determines the authority of a particular page is called Page Authority(PA). The score ranges from 1 to 100. The higher the score, the better are the chance to rank in Google and vice versa. Similarly, Domain Authority (DA) determines the quality of your domain or subdomain.

1.1. Keyword Research

Finding the right keyword is the first step towards your success. Do a proper research before deciding the keyword. Use various tools like UberSuggest, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs or keyword Everywhere to find a keyword which have higher search volume but a lower difficulty level.

This highlights all the keywords that are related to "Halloween". As well as it gives you the volume or traffic the keywords receive and lastly difficulty level[SEO] of each keywords.


As we can see "Halloween" is a highly comitative keywords and chances of ranking is quite less. But if you use a keyword say "Halloween Store" the chances of ranking will be a bit higher than previous. If you use the keyword "Halloween day" your chances of really high.

Note: Don't avoid long tailed keywords.


1.2. LSI Keywords

You can use either google or LSI tools to find related topic or keywords. And while publishing any content try to in cooperate them. For example, LSI keywords for Halloween is "Halloween 2020", "Halloween Movie", "Halloween Game" so while writing a blog on Halloween add these keywords for higher rank. Use Google PageSpeed Insight to check the speed of your site.

It has categorized the loading speed under these 3 categories. If anything falls under red zone- it need to be fixed immediately .

while anything in yellow zone needs yours attention as well.


Note: Their is no harm in fixing even the minor errors.


Second tool that one can use is Google Search console. Its helps you to identify and fix indexing.

The second question is how to reduce your Bounce rate?

  • It has been proven that video content gets more attention than any other content. So add more content video related content.

  • Always add a linkable "table of content" as it gives your viewers a overview about the topics you are covering. Also its helps Google to understand your content better and can relate it with LSI Keywords. This boosts you site rank.
